Adapting an out-of-the-box model to a firm's own methodology

Defined a four-domain operational resilience solution for KPMG RiskHub on IBM OpenPages, covering business continuity, third-party risk, IT governance and operational risk, under a compressed timeframe.

The requirement was to carry the firm's own methodology rather than the out-of-the-box approach, and to do so without disturbing what was already working. Business continuity and its touchpoints were where the design effort went. The object model was aligned to the firm's thinking and the workflows were reworked to support it. The IT governance scope was kept deliberately narrow, and the existing operational risk solution was left largely untouched.

The design was delivered with a single custom helper. Everything else was solved through configuration.
